Jaipur: Electricity produced from waste shall be obtainable in Jaipur from subsequent yr. A waste to power plant has been put in in Langdiavas on Jamwaramgarh Road. The waste to power plant will devour 1000 tonnes of waste on daily basis.
Door-to-door rubbish from each Greater and Heritage companies will attain Langdiavas. The plant will produce 12 megawatts i.e. 12000 models of electrical energy in an hour. The plant will work 24 hours a day, seven days every week. On a median, electrical energy shall be produced for 330 days a yr.
In this manner, 9.5 crore models of electrical energy shall be generated from 3.30 lakh tonnes of waste in a yr. The electrical energy generated within the plant shall be equipped to the Discom via the grid system. Water shall be taken from STP (Sewer Treatment Plant) for producing electrical energy.
The state’s first mission value Rs 180 crore shall be accomplished by March 2025. Currently, such waste to power crops are put in in cities like Delhi, Hyderabad, Pune and Jabalpur.
