Gurjant Singh Barar Passes Away: Former Rajasthan minister and farmer chief Gurjant Singh Brar handed away this night on the age of 91. He was unwell for a while. Gurjant Singh Brar was MLA thrice. Former minister Gurjant Singh Brar was the grandfather of BJP MLA Gurveer Singh Brar from Sadulshahar Assembly. Gurjant Singh Brar began his political profession in his youth. Gurjant, who began his political journey from the submit of Director within the Purchasing and Sales Cooperative Society in Sriganganagar, turned MLA thrice and as soon as served because the Minister of State for Irrigation. He was MLA from Sangaria Assembly in 1993 and 2003 and was elected MLA from Sadulshahar Assembly in 2013.

Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma stated that the demise of Sadulshahr MLA Gurveer Singh Brar ji’s grandfather, senior BJP chief and former Minister of State for Agriculture Sardar Gurjant Singh Brar ji is extraordinarily unhappy. Union Minister Arjun Ram Meghwal wrote on Twitter, “Received the extremely sad news of the demise of former minister Sardar Gurjant Singh Ji Brar.” Expressing condolences, Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla stated that former minister and senior chief Sardar Gurjant Singh Brar was all the time devoted to the folks of Sadulshahr space and as a preferred minister, he made an essential contribution to the all-round improvement of Rajasthan.
