On November 23, a message came in the evening from an unknown number in which 50 lakhs was written in a threatening tone. Keep the money ready, will call you tomorrow. SP formed police team
District Superintendent of Police Mridul Kachhawa said that the victim has registered a case with the police. After the case is registered, a police team is formed and investigation is being done. The numbers from which calls and messages were made are being investigated with the help of technical surveillance. We will soon arrest the accused and reveal the matter.
Message came from normal number
The method of extortion demanded is not like that of Lawrence Bishnoi’s gang. Whenever anyone receives a call from Lawrence Bishnoi’s gang, it is a foreign number. But, the number from which ransom has been demanded is a general number and text message has been sent to the person from Bharatpur.
