Terminal-1 has been designed keeping in mind the heritage of Jaipur city. Terminal-1 has been developed in heritage form
An airport official said, “Jaipur will now have two terminals. The new terminal has been developed in heritage form. After the opening of this terminal building, the capacity of Jaipur Airport will increase significantly and the overall service quality for passengers will improve.
With a projected annual growth of 7 per cent in Jaipur Airport’s passenger load, the opening of Terminal 1 is an important milestone in increasing the overall capacity of the airport. Approximately 5.4 million passengers will travel through Terminal 2 in 2023 and traffic is expected to increase further this year.

Air connectivity will also improve
Improvement in air connectivity and opening of new routes in Ayodhya, Bikaner, Abu Dhabi, Kuala Lumpur have led to impressive growth in passenger traffic. From October 27, all international passengers will be able to board their flights from Terminal 1 located on Tonk Road near Sanganer Police Station. All preparations are in full swing by the airport authorities regarding this.
10 check-in counters at Terminal 1
Around 100 employees and personnel will be deployed for the security arrangements at T1, which include CISF and airport security personnel, parking staff and others. Around 10 immigration counters have been set up in the departure area, while 14 counters have been set up in the arrival area. There will be 10 check-in counters in Terminal 1 building.
Apart from duty-free outlets, F&B outlets will also start operating from Terminal 1. Other facilities like a dedicated medical room, 24-hour ambulance services, lounges will also operate normally.
